Career opportunites in Value Communications
Envision Market Access Solutions (MAS) is looking for talented medical writers with an interest in HEOR. We are investing significantly in our fast-growing value communications business, so it’s an exciting time to advance your career in one of the ‘hot spots’ of the biopharma industry.
At Envision the role of ‘Writer’ is multi-faceted. You will work closely with clients, consultants and analysts – from beginning to end – to help articulate and support the value proposition of our clients’ products. Your varied range of work will include:
HEOR/RWE data audits, gap analyses and recommendations
Systematic literature reviews (conducting study as part of a team as well as publication support)
Peer reviewed journal manuscripts, congress abstracts, scientific posters and slide decks reporting HEOR studies
Global and regional value dossiers
Digital toolkits and slide kits for field staff.
You will be joining a dynamic, innovative, technology-enabled strategic communications group, working with many of the world’s leading biopharma companies and products. You will collaborate with clients and colleagues via phone, email and occasional face-to-face meetings. Liaison with external advisers and authors is in compliance with best practice guidelines. The role is ideally office-based at one of our locations in the UK or US, but remote working is also possible.
What profile do I need?
You will have a PhD, PharmD, or relevant master’s level degree in life, behavioural, or quantitative social sciences and at least 3 years’ experience in medical writing (including epidemiology, disease burden, unmet need, cost-effectiveness, comparative effectiveness, HRQoL, Patient-Reported Outcomes, budget impact, real world evidence/retrospective database studies). You will have developed manuscripts that have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
We need team players who enjoy multi-tasking and working proactively. You will have a strong client focus and an understanding of how “value” is assessed by physicians, payers, patients and policy makers. Ability to evaluate the medical literature is a pre-requisite, as is the ability to understand (but not conduct) basic statistical analyses as used in HEOR/RWE studies. Experience of EndNote and Datavision® is also an advantage.
Send your CV and a covering letter explaining why you believe you can contribute to our continued success, to opportunities-UK@envisionpharmagroup.com in the UK, and opportunities-US@envisionpharmagroup.com in the US.
