We are looking for a high performing individual to join our Business Development (BD) team to help us further leverage our market opportunity. In this senior commercial role, you will be expected to leverage our core health economics and market access services and applications/concepts across our client base in Europe and USA. You will be an experienced relationship builder with a proven track record of business development in health economics/market access or pharmaceutical consulting and you will be driven by a vision of client success. With a strong commercial understanding you must also have the mental agility to convert intelligent thinking into tangible results for both Curo and our clients.
Working with major global pharmaceutical companies, you need to establish and develop relationships with senior management teams to ensure that targets are met or exceeded. Thinking creatively, you will tailor our innovative concepts effectively to ensure the best possible results for our clients.
Your role will be to develop an existing portfolio of clients within pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as nurturing new business opportunities of your own, through your own established networking skills and via contacts within the industry.
Highly motivated, positive and enthusiastic, you will be a proven self-starter, experienced enough to be able to understand and manage a complex and intellectually challenging business environment both on a day-to-day basis and from a longer-term, more strategic viewpoint, ultimately contributing to the direction and future success of the business. You will also be expected, where appropriate, to act as sponsor on your client projects; ensuring delivery to required standards is a key enabler of ongoing business development activities.
Skills and Experience Required
- You will have a proven understanding of the Pharmaceutical Market Access sector, with at least 5 years of experience in solution/consulting sales
- Proven business development experience (in a consulting/solution sales capacity) within the pharmaceutical industry
- Computer literate, confident in using various software packages, including SalesForce
- Enjoy and have freedom to travel
Qualified at least to Degree level (or higher), in a relevant scientific/health economic/marketing discipline.
